Situated on Corfu island's North Coast, Sidari is a lively resort with much to do in the surrounding areas. One of the main attractions of Sidari is the famous Canal d'Amour, translated as the Canal of Love, formed by two rocks in the Sidari's bay. Tradition says that anyone who swims through the canal will always be lucky in love. Surrounded by many quiet coves walled in by carved sandstone cliffs which can be reached on foot or by boat. There are restaurants / tavernas for all tastes along the main street close to the beach, with accommodation ranging from family run intimate hotels to local villas hidden in the attractive groves of trees inland within walking distance from Sidari town centre ..

Originally Sidari used to be a small fishing village with not that many inhabitants. Over the 70's and 80's tourism arrived in Corfu and Sidari became an immediate “favorite” with the visitors. This was mostly due to its natural beauty and the long sandy beaches. Since then the resort never stopped developing and more tourists arrive every year. Despite the large development Sidari still keeps its own unique character and it manages to cater for the needs of all different kinds of holiday makers. Sidari is a resort suitable for all ages and tastes. Best time to travel is in summer.
