GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT SAINT GEORGE / CORFU
Saint George (south) situated south thirty one kilometers from Corfu town this resort is well known for its long sandy beach. Saint George (Argyrades) lying on a flat plain thirty one kilometers south west of Corfu town (Kerkyra) this popular tourist resort is well known for its vast stretch of sandy beach which is six kilometers in lenght and has been awarded the blue flag for its cleanliness. Saint George resort is fairly new being built up over the last twenty years or so and as such has a modern feel to it,while at the same time not being very far from the old world charm of some of the surrounding villages which overlook it and the fantastic old olive groves which envolope it
