Ipsos and Pyrgi are part of what is referred to as the Golden Mile due to its beautiful stretch of golden sand.
The two resorts are joined by the Golden Mile at either ends, and it is very difficult to differenciate where one ends and one begins! The Golden Mile also encompasses many bars, restaurants, discos and shops are can be found on the inland side of the busy road leading down to Ipsos Bay. Overlooked by Mount Pantokrator, the growing harbour marks the most southern part of the resort, and provides and attractive backdrop to the more touristy element of the area. Ipsos offers more of the nightlife than Pirgi, and the bars and discos throughout the year make this strip really buzz. Pirgi offers a slightly more quiet environment with a great walking base for those wishing to explore the mountain overlooking Ipsos resort. The bars and restaurants here offer a more relaxed environment .
