Gouvia is located very close to Corfu town and so makes it a popular resort for those wishing to be close to the lively resort. GOUVIA lies in a deep bay with Kontokali at the Southern end. Dominating the bay is the large Gouvia marina, where many of the large yachts from the area are moored and it is the launching point for many of the bareboat holidays. The growth of the marina has increased the activity and aided the growth of the resort greatly in the last 10 years. The narrow shingle beach is beautiful in the summer months & is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. There are lots of different activities for the more adventurous yet it also caters for families of all ages.
