Lying tucked away several miles down a twisty road and 30 km from Corfu town, the little resort of Agios Georgios (North), or Saint George as some call it, is a haven for lovers of a quiet restful holiday. So far the demands of the tourist trade have not spoiled the natural beauty of this delightful bay. The beach is soft and golden and the seas are perfect for swimming and watersports - particularly popular with windsurfers. Aghios Georgios North beach is considered one of the best on Corfu island. Close to Agios Georgios are the villages Afionas, Prinilas & Agros that distinguish for their traditional architecture and the wonderful combination of green nature with dreamy shores. |
